Adpro is probably your best bet. I would go with an AREXX script
that calls each background frame, then the appropriate foreground image,
then composites and saves the result as a NEW image. You might save as
JPEGS to save time. Also you could then use another script to cause AREXX
to make an ANIM out of the JPEGS to see a preview. Might save some work.
I can send my script to do an ANIM from a series of FRAMES.
Shouldn't take too much to make it composite another picture first. Let me
know if you want it.
PS I don't know if FRED does this or not. It probably does, but I
have never bothered to learn FRED, so I don't know. Also there are
commercial and PD programs to write AREXX scripts for ADPro. I can't think
of their names because I've never had much success with them. I think one
of the PDs is called MakroMaker.
